Established in the year 1944 by Shri Ratilal Dayalji Hajiseth and its first chairman was Dr. Shantilal Nanavati. On the completion of 50 years, during the Golden Jubilee year the Trust Shrimati Lalita Gauri Hajiseth Balmandir running the Balmandir decided to handover the management of Balmandir and the trust to JANTA KELAVANI MANDAL, a leading educational Trust, managing several institute in the Broach District. It is hoped that this will bring forth better facilities and improvement of the educational standards.
Balmandir operating at Hasti faliya was then transferred in the year 2007 ( 10-10-2007) to the college campus and June 2002 was housed in a new well aired and lit and colorful spacious classrooms in the building with all the latest facilities such as a large play ground, audio visual software for teaching
Balmandir has Playgroup, Nursery, KG1, KG2, in all seven divisions/classes and about 400 children between the age of 3 to 5 years. Children from playgroup to KG progress in a systematic step by step manner and are provided with a solid foundation and are taught using latest techniques by dedicated and qualified teachers ably led by the principal Ms. Krupaben G Patel. All efforts are made to expose the children with opportunities for all round growth and enable to imbibe basic values to respect the culture of our society. Students are taught language, writing and are nurtured with experimental educational activities for easier and better informal learning.
A number of activities on festivals such as Raksha Bandhan, Janmastami, Eid, Xmas, Holi, Diwali are celebrated with aplomb and their importance are explained to the children.
