Students of J.M. Shah College have been awarded Gold- Medals and Prizes for Economics, Gujarati and subjects in Commerce by the South Gujarat University. In addition to the academic laurels, the students of this college have successfully participated in the extra-curricular activities like Elocution, Dramatics, Music, Sports, N.S.S. and N.S.C. The college has also published eight publications dealing with literature, education and culture. The Library in the college campus is one of the noteworthy institutions of the South Gujarat University.
