D. J. Shah English School, Playgroup KG, Primary, Secondary School established in the year 2009, has the medium of instruction as English for giving wider scope to the Trust’s vision of all round education. With initial strength of less than 10 students this institute has grown now, with over 400 students from play group to Std. VIII. It has successfully secured permission up to 8th std. under Gujarat State Education Board.
There has been a sustained demand from parents to follow the CBSE Board. Keeping this as the goal, the academic committee has taken care to incorporate the CBSE pattern of teaching methodology and gradual introduction of text books wherever required to upgrade the system.
School currently housed in a well constructed building, originally a hostel, has all the facilities such as Principal office, Prayer Hall, play ground, and class rooms, toilets etc. The students have the advantage of using the facilities available on this 12 acre campus such as science laboratories, libraries, computer centre. The school is also equipped with audio-visual facility for teaching and on line internet facility. The faculty selected is qualified to meet the present needs.
The teaching staff members are trained ongoing basis to upgrade the teaching and scholastics standard. The Trust is serious about plans to provide Continuous Professional Development opportunities to the staff members and will provide the required infrastructure and resources as and when required.
